path to my images folder

I have created a theme folder. In this theme folder I have few scripts like contact.php. In this page I can not get the images to appear. I have included this path to my images folder which on the same folder as my script “contact.php”. In this script I have included this link to my images folder: https://images/myimage.jpg. images and folder and contact.php resides on the same theme folder.
why do I have a broken image on my page?
