Path not created

  • Hi, i love your plugin and have used it for several sites. However, for my new site, the plugin does not seem to be able to create paths for my image uploads. The images all went into wp-content/uploads instead of the specified intended path. I have the latest plugin version 3.4.4, i am running on 5.0.4, using Divi Theme and PHP 7. Please kindly advise if there’s anything i can do to fix this? Thank you so much!

    What is your template path and how exactly are you performing the uploads?

    Eg: are you in the media library, or in the post view? Is the post draft saved? Are you using a browser or the WordPress app?

    Hi, my template path is just /%postname%/ .

    I have created my Page using Divi Builder and within the page itself, i perform the upload. I don’t upload via Media Library. And yes, the post draft was saved. For test, the post draft was also published. I use a Chrome browser.

    I had success with your plugin and using Divi theme in the past. I don’t know why it didnt create the path this time. Seeking for your advice.

    If you’re using 3.4.x and uploading to a named and saved post, using the Gutenberg Image or Gallery blocks, or the post media upload thing – it absolutely should work.

    The theme should not affect anything, but you should try uploading to a named and saved post, while running the default WordPress theme.

    If that doesn’t help, try the same thing but with all other plugins disabled.
