    Hi,

So I copied a site successfully but I am not sure if I did something incorrect.

During installation, I typed in the following as Path: “mysite.com”.
I have a subdomain on my hosting and the folder to this subdomain is named “mysite.com”.
Anyway, everything works exceptionally well except one thing looks odd. I get a 404 error in Console telling me that some fonts can’t be loaded. The fonts are available but the path look incorrect. Here is what console says:

    source: https://mitesite.com/mitesite.com/wp-content/fonts/font.woff

Obviously the issue is that mysite.com comes up twice in the path url. Should I have left the field “Path” empty during installation and is there a solution to fix this without going back to doing a new installation?

Thanks in advance, the plugin is freaking aweomse and I love it!

  • Hey @torstenc12,

To be 100% sure of the correct path you might FTP a test.html file up to your folder in your subdomain and then try to browse to it to make sure it works correctly. Then you will want to use that exact path (https://mysite.com/subfolder/) for the Path parameter in the installer.php file.

Let me know if that helps~

    Hey @corylamleorg

    Thank you for your reply!

I just ran the test and it worked just fine, I didn’t type in the domain twice in the URL and it opened without issues.
It is strange that everything (images, pages, internal links etc.) worked straight away, the only issue is this 404 error with the font. None of the other links has the domain duplicated in the URL except for this error.

The site is copied from my other domain where everything including the font loads without any issue. Any idea as to why this is happening?

    Hey @corylamleorg

Can you perhaps tell me how I can check which file is requesting the font from this path? Then I can just change it manually to correct it

Edit: I searched in the database for mysite.com/mysite and nothing came up. So how on earth is it requesting the font from this source

Edit2: Fixed it by simply removing the fonts folder. Silly stuff! Thread can be closed.
