Pasting text into Post Window

  • Hi I am a Newbie and this is probably really simple, so bear with me.

    How do I paste text into my write window, is there a plugin to allow this?

  • For windows, try Ctrl-C to copy and ctrl-v to paste.

    Similar shortcuts for mac users as well.

    Don’t you have a Ctrl and V key on your keyboard?
    Why would you need a plugin? This is not a “WP issue” – it is about knowing your own computer ??
    Also, right-click should bring up a menu where you can select “Paste”.

    Warning: try not to paste into the wysiwyg editor from Word or from other websites – it will be ugly ??
