Pasting in existing content again, and again, and again…

I am trying to edit a newsletter.

Each time I try to add a new column, text block or image block, instead of getting a new space to work with I get some existing sections pasted instead. I have deleted these sections about 20 times so far and get left with ‘place a content block here’ holders all over the place.

And this is on top of the usual problem of randomly clicking in the newsletter (like in a text box so I can select text to change), having the text section move to another spot in the newsletter.

Is there a way to make this plugin user friendly for editing? This is the main purpose we tried mail poet.
