Pasting Content from Google Drive / Google Docs to Visual Editor

  • Hi,

    My writers and I do most of our work within Google Drive / Google Docs. After the editor is done, we then need to move it to WordPress.

    If we copy/paste from Google Drive to the Visual Editor, we lose some basic formatting – including bold and italics.

    Is there any solution to this? What is the best way to get stuff from Google Drive to WordPress?

    Google Drive can output HTML to file, but it’s very nasty stuff that I don’t want on my site either.

  • I’m trying to figure this out as well. For the the spacing gets changed.

    Yeah, we never really solved this problem. We just kind of deal with it, either paste it into the txt section and re-HTML it if necessary, or paste it into the visual area and clean up the mess ??
