Pasting a table from Word to a page

  • I’m trying to do something which worked fine yesterday, the day before, etc, which is to post a table from word on a page using the ‘Paste from Word’ function. Today I find I lose all formatting, though in previous days it preserved it. Because it is a table then notepad is not a solution.

    Any ideas welcome – thanks

  • Don’t paste content from Microsoft Word into WordPress as the pasted text will also contain Word’s own formatting. Sooner or later, this formatting will stop your pages from being displayed correctly (if at all) in Internet Explorer. If you cannot possibly manage without Word, use Windows LiveWriter.
