Paste as plain text adds unwanted spaces

  • Did you ever figure this out? I just upgraded wordpress and now my text comes in double spaced.

    Also, I can’t figure out how to post a question.
    Please let me know if you figure out the spacing issue.

    It depends where the text is copied from. In some cases it contains some HTML that may have paragraphs and other tags.

    Maybe try to paste it in the Text editor, then switch to the Visual. Or paste it first in something like Notepad, then copy again and paste in the Visual editor.
