Past Season Team no longer exists

  • Good day
    i’m loading some older games into our plugin so that we have a record of it with links to the media files.
    What i’ve done is setup a 2016-2017 season, created a team and added one game to see what it looks like
    if i select the season (women only) it shows up fine.
    However, this team (bluebirds) doesn’t exist anymore and it is showing up in this year’s season.
    Is there a way to hide the team that no longer exists from new seasons?

    First I like the way you’re using the multi-league standings shortcode. Thats exactly what its intended for. There is also a multi-league schedule shortcode, and I just finished a multi-team schedule shortcodes.

    Let’s see, a league has teams in it and has games across a set of seasons. But teams can’t go in and out of a league based on the season. So if a league gains or loses teams, it becomes a different league. For example you could have League-2019 and League-2020. (The leagues could have the same name on the front end but different slugs.) Teams can be in multiple leagues, so you don’t have to create or delete teams.
