Hi – I’m about to purchase your other plugin for past posts revival. I have a couple of dozen past pages that I’d like to send through my RSS feed as well. Will either one of these plugins send old pages into the RSS feed? I’m no longer building new pages, but I have an extensive RSS distribution network that I like to run the past pages through. Thanks

The RSS Includes Pages plugin will add pages to your RSS feeds. RSS feeds are date-based and include whatever the most recent X posts (or pages) are. So if the date on your pages is recent enough, it’ll be included in the feed.

If you have questions about the pro version, please start a thread at the following link as the www.remarpro.com forum is for the free version only:

So what you’re saying is, only if the pages were recently built, they will be included in the RSS feed?

Again, I’m getting ready to buy the “Republish old posts” because of it’s ability to republish old posts. I’m no longer building new “pages”. All of my new content is being published on “posts” not “pages”. So I have no need to push the “pages” into an RSS feed because I’m no longer building pages.

My question still remains the same….does the “RSS Includes Pages” plugin have the ability to republish old “pages”?

My “pages” are over 2 years old. I need something that will push those into the RSS feed. Just like you’re plugin “Republish Old Posts” that will republish an old post so that it goes into the RSS feed.

The Republish Old Posts plugin will update the dates on old posts. When the date has been updated and is current, it’ll appear in the feeds.

Please note that posts are not the same as pages so things may not work as you expect.

Your best bet is to try the 2 free plugins and see if they work for you in your situation.
