Past / Future lists

I’m unable to out put a single list of future events. The past events always seem to be in grey even though I have asked them not to be displayed.
The code I am using is:
[events_list future=1 past=0 cat=”events” nb=10]Also, is there a feature where I can have a list of past events / sorted by month? Like the Archive feature for posts?
