• When I go to the list of all events in the backend, all future events are listed, according to the default setting “future events”.

When I select *any* other display option in the select menu that contains “all events / future events / past events” etc., I get an empty list saying “no events found”, and on top of the page this warning:

Notice: Array to string conversion in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/geschichte_wien/wp-admin/edit.php on line 329

This happens both with the free version of Events Manager and Events Manager Pro. For testing I deactivated all other plugins, WP is at version 5.8, the error still happens. Is this an EM thing or a WP malfunction?

    Hi,

I tried this on our test servers with EM 5.11 and it seems fine with me; you can try to install and activate WP Safe Mode to rule out any possible conflicts.

    Hi,

Thanks for your answer. I used the safe mode plugin and discovered that the error only occurs with the current theme ??

Since I created the theme myself: Do you have any idea what could cause this error in the theme? Everything else works as expected, so I really have no idea what to look for…

    Hi again,

I wrote a more thorough description of this problem on Stack Overflow – if anyone is willing to help, please have a look:

    https://stackoverflow.com/questions/69125907/impossible-to-display-list-of-past-or-all-events-events-manager-plugin-in

Although the problem appears only when using a particular self-created (rather simple) theme, it does *not* appear when using another self-created theme which is almost identical code-wise except of its CSS.

And since the problem only occurs on the backend listing of EM events when it’s filtered by the event date, I’d be grateful to at least get some hints what the reason could be.

    Thanks to anyone who responds!
