Past events not deleting

maybe you can try to remove the year and/or month search attribute year=”2015″ ?

I tried that, but it didn’t work. It’s like the ‘scope’ feature just doesn’t work at all. Any other suggestions?

another way is to create custom scope using this tutorial – https://wp-events-plugin.com/tutorials/create-your-own-event-scope/

But that’s for very specific dates/times.
I just want whatever has gone by to be erased automatically.

Maybe you could tell me in what file and what line I can place this code:

$events = EM_Event::get(array(‘scope’=>’past’);
EM_Event->delete($events);

I’ve tried several places, but none have worked.

Just to clarify: Do you want to hide past events, or actually delete from admin completely?

Either option would work.
Whichever is the easiest one would be best because I don’t program.

1. create this folders in your theme directory

wp-content > themes > Your Theme > (create) plugins > events-manager > templates

2. create this php file inside item#1

wp-content > themes > Your Theme > plugins > events-manager > templates > (create this php file) calendar-full.php

then edit php file calendar-full.php and use the snippet above.

One quick question
The events seem to be disappearing before they happen.
For example I had an event on jan 30, and it disappeared today before it actually occurred.
How can i make sure that doesn’t happen?

check your booking cut-off under ‘bookings/registration’ section when you edit or add event.
