Past Cart Items Beind Added to New Order

    Hello,

My website does weekly meal delivery. Customers order throughout the week for deliveries on Thursdays. I have 2 or 3 customers that every time they order when they go to check out it adds the items from their previous order. The items do not show up in their cart until after the go to checkout. To remove the items, they have to then leave checkout, add a new item, go to their cart, remove all the old items plus the item they added just to be able to remove items. They can then checkout normally. But when they go to order again the next week they have to do it all over again. It only effects 2-3 customers but it happens to them every week.

    Howdy Chef Patricia,

    That’s peculiar. Your description sounds like those particular customers might be experiencing persistent caching issues.

    Your System Status Report shows you’ve got the Cloudflare plugin, which seems like a good place to start. Have a read of our Configuring caching plugins guide, and make sure important WooCommerce pages are excluded from your cache.

    The following will affect active customers on your site, so use it with caution and preferably at a quiet time for your site.

    Head to WP Admin ? WooCommerce ? Status ? Tools and find the Clear customer sessions section, and click the Clear button to the right of it. It will empty all carts, and present all customers with clean slate.
