I tried to rephrase the email for newly registered users and inserted the Reset Passwort Link – Shortcode as follows:

    Username: [email_user_login]

Before you log in the first time you need to reset your passwort: [password_reset_link]

The first shortcode works fine, but passwort_reset_link is shown as Shortcode in the mail sent out.
    How can I solve this?

    Hi @msteidl ,
    Thanks for your message.

Can you tell me how the password reset emails are being triggered? Is it via the WP login screen, a 3rd party plugin, or via the WP Admin?

They used to be triggered by customer registration. However, I feel the plugin does not do what I expect it to do. No it blocks the sending of passwort reset emails and I don’t understand why. So I will delete it and find other solutions for my needs.

    Thanks for your support anyhow.

    Hi @msteidl,
Sometimes registration plugins use their own code as opposed to overriding the default WordPress registration methods so BNFW won’t be able to pick up any changes in this instance. I’m fairly sure the Members plugin works with BNFW, if it helps.

Please let me know if you need any more help.
