    I’m having an issue, similar to some others, where password reset links are not working as expected. Users who click the Forgot Password link are sent an email with an activation URL. Clicking that URL redirects to the Profile page and shows the error, “You need to be logged in to edit your profile.” Clicking the Login link again shows me as logged in now, without resetting the password.

    Why aren’t users taken to a page to restore their password?

    Hi @bennettscience, this is not an issue but a lack of information provided by my side.

    If you have a profile (edit) page in Clean Login and you ask for resetting a password, then you will be redirected to this page for you to change your password there. If this page exists, no profile page will be shown, and a new password will be generated on-the-fly.

    I think the main confusion is that sometimes, and I can’t find a pattern, the automatic login fails and the user sees the login screen again. Is there a setting I should check?
