    Hi,

I’ve enabled a notification to be sent to a user once their password has successfully been changed, but it seems the user only receives this email if admin changes their password from the admin panel, not if the user changes it themselves on the front-end. Do you know if this is supposed to be the case?

    Many thanks.

    Hi @mikee1001,
    Thanks for your message.

Do you mean that the user is using the default WordPress password reset form? Or do you have a front-end form created by a plugin that allows them to change their password or a different page?

    Thanks,
    Jack

    Hi Jack,

I have a different front-end page for the user to change their password (I think it’s created by my theme or a plugin, it’s not the standard WordPress password reset form)… and this occurs when the user changes their password on that page.

    Many thanks,

    Mike

    Hi @mikee1001,
    Thanks.

This is most likely what is causing the problem.
What plugin are you using to show the password reset form on a page?

    Thanks,
    Jack

Hi Jack, I think it’s the WooCommerce plugin that displays the Lost Password page.
