Password reset submitting error

  • Hi,
    I have an issue on password-reset page: when submitting an email address the page reload the form instead of the text “We have sent you a password reset link to your e-mail. Please check your inbox.”.
    How can I solve?

    Hi @mezcal26,

    This issue can be due to the cache, do you have a caching plugin or server side caching active on your server? Please try excluding Ultimate member pages from the cache and see if it helps.

    You can also do a quick conflict test so we can rule out conflicts with your theme or other plugins. Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure.

    Hi,
    thank you for your reply.
    No caching plugins in my site and no caching active on server.
    Some news:
    I noticed that in italian the password-reset page works fine. The issue appear in english and french. When submitting the page, in italian you can see in the url the query string variables (“?updated=checkemail”), but not in english and french, so the page reloads itself with form.
    NB: I use WPML for translating.

    What page have you assigned as a password reset page eg. Italian or English/French and what language URL format do you have?

    Hi,
    the password reset page is “/area-riservata/password-reset/” (italian).
    The language URL is https://www.site.ext/en/ – https://www.site.ext/fr/, so the english password reset page is “/en/reserved-area/password-reset/”.
