Password reset not working: This is not possible for security reasons

    Hello,

    The password reset is not working. Error message: This is not possible for security reasons.

    – I am using Ultimate Member version 2.3.1
    – I did a plugin conflict test. The error persisted with all plugins turned off.
    – I deleted the cache. The error persisted.
    – I excluded all UM pages from caching. The error persisted.
    – I have two different user roles that each need their own registration form.

    Please let me know how this can be resolved.

    Which UM Page are you using for resetting the user password?

    Do you have this page configured for Password reset in UM Settings -> General -> Pages?

    Is the User resetting his/her password logged in?

    Hello @missveronicatv

    I hadn’t noticed that the link in the reset password email was opening in a different browser where I was logged in as Admin, which is why it didn’t work.

    So it is working, sorry about the misunderstanding.
