Password reset not working

    Hi,
    I have a www.remarpro.com site which I have not updated for a few years and I’m trying to get back into it. However I can’t remember the password. When I attempt the procedure for ‘forgot your password’, I can enter the correct email address but the email reset link never comes through. I have checked Spam, Trash etc.
    I tried resetting my account password via my profile in www.remarpro.com forums but it did not work.
    When I try and enter my username and password on the /wp-admin site that also does not work. Instead I get an error message saying ‘This page isn’t working, if the problem continues contact the site owner’ (Http error 508).
    Does anyone know any other ways to reset the password?

    Hi @catraeprofessional, at this point, where you are not able to access the back end of your self-hosted WordPress site, it may be best to try all of the steps on this page:

    Login Trouble

    After trying those suggestions, you may need to look into accessing your WordPress site through the server it is hosted on or other tools provided by your hosting company. For example, one approach may be to directly edit your password through the database of your site.
