    Hello,

Recently customers complain unable to reset the password (replaced a new password but unable to login).

Beside, some customers in user list as customer role, but not in Woocommerce customer list. Why this happen? Is this a problem? If yes, how can I fix it?

    Please help. Thanks in advance!

    Hi there @cfm168 ????!

Thank you for reaching out to MailPoet Support!

Recently customers complain unable to reset the password (replaced a new password but unable to login).

I think I am not 100% understanding what you mean here. MailPoet subscribers won’t have a password assigned to their subscription. Do you maybe mean that they are trying to reset their password and are not getting a password reset email?

Beside, some customers in user list as customer role, but not in Woocommerce customer list. Why this happen? Is this a problem? If yes, how can I fix it?

This could be because they were created as WooCommerce customers before MailPoet was installed. You can try the steps listed in this tutorial and see if that works: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/284-import-old-customers-to-the-woocommerce-customers-list

Please keep us posted, we’ll be glad to keep troubleshooting this issue with you.

    Cheers!

    Hello @danielinhou,

Thank you for advising. I found all customers that complain for unable to login and unable to reset password with my current version-3 they were registered when I using MailPoet version 2.

I hope customer’s purchase activities can be also seamlessly migrate to version3. How to solve this problem?

    Please help. Thanks!

    Hi there @cfm168,

I found all customers that complain for unable to login and unable to reset password with my current version-3 they were registered when I using MailPoet version 2.

As mentioned, MailPoet does not add or include any type of “login/password” functionality.

Were you referring to an issue with them not receiving a password reset email from WordPress itself? Under MailPoet > Settings > Advanced, do you currently have MailPoet set to “Send all site’s emails” with your configured MailPoet sending method? If you switch it back to use the default sending method, do you still see an issue?

I hope customer’s purchase activities can be also seamlessly migrate to version3. How to solve this problem?

While there’s a migration for MailPoet 2 to MailPoet 3, as mentioned in the documentation below, statistics will not be transferred:
