Password reset link not working

    Thank you for this useful plugin! We are receiving the following error when a user clicks on the password reset link sent to them when trying to reset a password:

    Error: Your password reset link appears to be invalid. Please request a new link below.

    We have refreshed the permalinks. The problem only goes away when deactivating WPS Hide Login. Any idea why this might be happening? Thanks for any feedback.

    WP version: 5.8.1
    WPS Hide Login version: 1.9.1

    Are you using a membership plugin generating login page like Buddypress or memberpress ?

    Hi MaximeWPS,

    Thanks for your message. We are not using a membership plugin but I have noticed that the problem seems to appear when using a CDN such as AWS CloudFront in front of our site. Not sure if you have experienced a similar issue.

    Hello,

    Many users have a CDN (KeyCDN, Cloudflare, RocketCDN, MaxCDN…) and don’t get the issue because of the wp-login.php page doesn’t have to be included in CDN cache.

    Can you check ?

    Thanks for the tip, that worked! While wp-login.php was excluded from the CloudFront cache, we needed to exclude the new login URL from the CloudFront cache which seemed to resolve the problem. Many thanks!
