Password reset “invalid” link despite cookie + caching troubleshooting
-
Hi all,
Despite reading through various forum posts to try to solve the issue, I’m still having issues with my reset password link being marked as invalid.
To summarize, the functionality of submitting your email to generate a password reset message to the user’s inbox is working. It even seems to be generating the correct link, which looks like:
However, no matter if
1) I disable caching on the relevant login/registration/password pages, or
2) I add the cookie “wp-resetpass-*” to the cookie whitelist, or
3) I try @missveronicatv’s landing page solution (can’t seem to access UM Settings -> Access -> Restriction Content -> Exclude the following URLs in my UM plugin)I still get this link in return:
https://rohreraesthdev.wpengine.com/portal-password-reset/?updated=invalidkeyI will say, the /portal-password-reset page works when a user is logged in.
Been trying to troubleshoot this for hours, any other solutions?
