When I request a password reset, I get a link like this:

    https://example.com/profile/?a=pwdreset&key=*UrRq4yGgSWv&id=4

But that simply takes me back to the request password reset form on the profile page.

I’m just stuck in an endless loop.

Furthermore, it makes the existing password invalid, leaving me no way to get back in (have to use WP reset).

I have tried it with all my plugins turned off, but get the same result.

Any ideas on what is going wrong?

Decided to go with the WP reset instead.

Rolled back to an earlier version that doesn’t invalidate the password.

Are you sure this was from WP-Members? The password reset link you’ve shown is not what WP-Members uses/sends. WP-Members uses the same format at WordPress’s core password reset. The last parameter in the query string would be “login=some_user”, not “id=123”.

    Yes, it was from WP-Members.

As I said, I have installed an earlier version that doesn’t invalidate the existing password and use the WP reset password link instead.
