• Hi – the password reset form on our site does not have a mail entry field. I have tried following the FAQ found here:
    https://rocketgeek.com/plugins/wp-members/docs/faqs/password-reset-doesnt-show-any-fields/
I do not have advanced options, and there is no reference to password in the themes functions.php file.

I have also tried everything i can on other faq’s relating to legacy password reset. I want to use the new system, all the settings i have are correct. At the moment our members cannot reset the password and this is a nightmare as our festival is soon happening.

    Please can you advise?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Are you using an “email as username” plugin? If so, which one?

    Yes we are actually –

    Email as Username for WP-Members

    Should i disable?

Yes you should disable that. That plugin is would do the same thing as described in the FAQ about the issue with the Advanced Options – it removes a field from the form, and since there is only one field, it’s removing the only field.

To be clear, that’s not one of my plugins – that’s a plugin that someone else developed and released on www.remarpro.com. I’m not recommending you disable it because of that, but because it is incompatible with the current version’s password reset.
