Password Reset Error: Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid

    Hello,

    If I request a password reset through the lost password page, the link inside the email leads to this error:

    Sorry, that key does not appear to be valid

    Here’s the link that comes in the email:

    https://mywebsite.com/resetpass/?key=iVWRQQaVjfLf273PDAsc&login=testuser

    Please help! Thank you.

    Do you know if your web server is apache or nginx?

    Hi Jeff,

    Our host is WPENGINE and they just told me they use both on their platform.

    I did a query through netcraft.com and it said NGINX.

    It definitely seems that the problem is with Nginx. Just not sure why…

    As per the discussion in the other thread, WPENGINE removed the resetpass page from caching and that has resolved the issue. Thanks.
