• I’ve tried just about everything. I’m trying to reset my password but every time I hit the automatic reset thing on the wp-admin page it says it’s sent out an email and I never get it. I’ve tried this at least half-a-dozen times over two days and either it never sends the email or I never get it. I’ve checked my spam folder just to be sure. I’m also sure I told it to send it to the correct email. I do not get an error when I put the email in.

Any help would be appreciated in this issue. Thanks.

  • Hello – Do you have access to the database? The best option is to reset your password via your phpMyAdmin interface. Are you familiar with this?

The folks I’m doing the site for are looking into getting me the host information so I can access the database. They apparently have two installations of wordpress under the same host. I’m assuming as long as there’s a user table I can get the info I need.

Is there any way to find the info on the user name and/or password from the files in the wordpress installation? I have FTP access.
