Password reset email missing link and different to template in admin

    Hi,

    The password reset email is missing the rest password link and has different wording and layout to the one in the admin.

    The email is turned on for the reset password in the Ultimate Member settings.

    Please can you assist?

    Hi @mindtomatter,

    Do you use custom email templates?
    Please check your email template in Email section in Ultimate member -> Settings and make sure that it contains {password_reset_link} placeholder.

    I am having a related problem with the passwor_reset function generating invalid links.

    This is the message that shows in the web page, when trying to use the link:

    “Your password reset link appears to be invalid.”

    We are using {password_reset_link} and have been since using the plugin.

    Please can you assist?

    I finally discovered the root of the problem: we were using recaptcha to verify password reset users. However, our license with google had expired, so recaptchas was rejecting the reset request. Too a while to find it.

    Are you using the recaptcha on the reset password form?

    If so we’re not, so the issue remains unresolved.

    We’re still experiencing this issue. Members can’t reset their password. Please can you assist?
