• Hi there,

    I’m currently using UM 2.0.56 with Betheme and Muffin group. I have set up UM.

    However, the password reset function doesn’t work.

    1) Received the email with the link “reset password” – it’s works
    2) I am then requested to enter a “password” – It should actually ask me for a “new password” and then to reconfirm that “new password”?
    3) But it doesn’t seem to be updating the password so user continues without access.

    No cache plugin installed.

    Can you please help me asap.

    Are you that it’s caused by your theme?
    Can you please do a quick conflict test so we can rule out any conflicts and see if this issue goes away.
    Here is the doc on how to do a conflict test if you are not sure how to do it.

    It’s solved for me due to a look to a previous topic, my UM pages weren’t excluded from cache action.

    Yes. it’s caused by Betheme and it’s works with Twenty Nineteen theme.

    Also, Why does this only request to enter a “password” instead to request for a “new password” and then to “confirm password”?

    Fixed!

    How did you guys fix this? I have tried everything, and just recently added the UM pages to be excluded from page cache, and nothing has fixed the error. Works great when creating a user from the dashboard, but if a user resets their password, the new password, nor the old password works. Then they keep trying and they end up locking themselves and all other user from being able to login until the waiting period is over. Very frustrating!
