Password Request for specific country

    Hello,

    I need to block the view of the website to two specific countries. I live in one of this countries, so is there with this plug in the chance to block specific countries but showing a “password” or “password and user” request? So I can get access?

    Hi @icks13,

    This plugin is not intended for content restriction by region but blocking access to WordPress itself to reduce the chances to be attacked. It means that any static resources such as audio and visual files in your “/wp-content/uploads/” can not be blocked.

    But if you set up “Front-end target settings” as follows, you can block accessing from specified countries.

    Front-end target settings

    You can replace the redirecting page from “/about/” to “/wp-login.php”. But I never recommend it because anyone blocked would be redirected to the login page.

    You can also block accesses to the back-end of your site from your country. In this case, you can setup your IP address, rage of your IP addresses or AS Number of your ISP. Or you can specify your ISP’s domain name using IP Geo Allow plugin by Dragan.
