This plugin is such a time saver and creates nearly all functionality for a members only site I’m working on. Thank you so much for putting this together.

My site is only accessible for logged in users, I’m using the plugin Registered Users Only that redirects all non-logged in users to the standard wp-login.php

In your plugin I’m setting the Password Recovery Page to the “Forgot Password”. But this also changes the “Forgot password?” link on the WP login page. How can I use you plugin’s forgot password page for logged in users only, and keep the standard recovery link on the WP login page (/wp-login.php?action=lost password)?

Thank you for taking the time to read this,

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to us.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but when the ProfilGrid is active, then the default password recovery page of the ProfileGrid suppresses the default WP password recovery Page.

Hi, thanks for the quick response.

In your plugin settings, I removed the option for users to change their password via frontend, and I did not define a page for “Forgot Password”. “Forgot password?” on wp-login.php now links again to (/wp-login.php?action=lost password) but results in ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS, as its looping to /wp-login.php?action=lostpassword&errors=pm_reset_pw_limit_exceed

How do I configure your plugin so it does not fiddle around with the standard WordPress password reset?

    Thanks

Unfortunately no reply form the author but in case someone needs to figure this out, too: look at the class-profile-magic.php and just comment out the parts you don’t want the plugin to do. Not the cleanest but works for my case.
