Password protection for downloads.

Hi,
I am trying to setup an open community blog, integrated with a bbp forum, a store and a downloads page.
What I want to do is:
1. Though the downloads are free, I want to restrict downloading for unregistered users.
2. I want every one to be able to browse the page but allow downloads to member users alone. How do i do that?
Please help!
