Password Protection + Change Login URL result in 404-Error

P.S. I did not add any link because the error appears on any page where these features are active so reproducing this issue shouldn’t be a problem (I hope).

I’m able to get the corect redirect when Password Protection is enabled. i.e. https://www.mysite.com/custom_login will properly redirect to https://www.mysite.com/wp-login.php?custom_login&redirect=false

Could you check the redirect chain for your custom login URL via https://wheregoes.com/ and see if there’s anything odd in there?
