The Forum I am using is already protected by MemberPress.

I would like the uploaded attachments to also be protected.

Is it possible to have the attachments protected in some way (e.g. password protected)?

For example, is it possible to have the files added to a specific folder in the Media Bank? This would allow me to protect that folder.

Or is there another way you can suggest?

There is no way to do that because WordPress doesn’t have any kind of file protection in Media Library the plugin uses. I plan to have something implemented that will include file protection, but that would be only for GD bbPress Toolbox Pro plugin.

Also, GD bbPress Toolbox Pro has the ability for files to be uploaded in own directory (it is still in Media Library, but under a different directory in uploads directory, so some control over files can be done via .htaccess or something like that – but that is not part of the plugin).

    Thanks for this information.

I think GD bbPress Toolbox Pro is a good option for me.

Is there documentation for how to upload files to its own directory? How would I do that?

Sorry for the late reply. Options for this include sufficient information, and there is an option to choose the format for the new directory. If you have any issues, stop by the forums, and I will help you out.
