    Hi there,

I love the simplicity of this plugin. The one thing that has me worried, and I’m wondering if it can be fixed easily, is that anyone can scan the QR code at any time and accidentally mark their own tickets as “scanned”.

Would there be a way to require a password to “confirm” the scan, before it’s actually marked as scanned?

For example, from the dashboard/admin panel for the plugin, specify a static password, and then require that password to be entered correctly on the QR Code page in order for it to actually mark the ticket/s as used? If that’s not possible quickly, is there a way I could get my instance to do just that?

    Hi @hiltonmw,

Yes, people could scan their own tickets. I have not heard of this happening by accident. People could do it on purpose, but I don’t really see why they would. If they had a paper ticket, that would be similar to cutting it in half.

At this time there is not a way to password protect the page. I don’t see enough people needing this feature to add it as of this time. If I have a few other people ask for it, then I will consider adding it to the plugin.

    Thanks,
    Scott
