    Hey everybody,

I originally built my WordPress site on a temporary URL on a new host. Today I moved my name servers over from my old host and changed my WordPress site address to my normal domain, commonagenda.com. Everything is great with that.

However, I had previously password protected my WP-admin directory (https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-password-protect-your-wordpress-admin-wp-admin-directory/) when I was using the temporary URL. That all worked fine for having the double login. And that still works when I attempt to log into the temporary URL’s wp-admin page, but now if I go right to my main URL’s wp-admin page it no longer prompts me for the wp-admin password.

I’m not exactly sure how to proceed from here. My main domain name is just pointing to the folder with my WordPress installation and that folder is already password protected. But I really want to make sure that no matter what wp-admin login domain someone goes to it requires the second admin password.

Hope that made sense. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

    Best,

    Daniel

Oh boy, sorry, looks like this was just a caching issue and I’m seeing the prompt for the wp-admin login again. Can’t figure out how to delete my post, but issue resolved!
