Password protected Posts after WP 6.7

    In my website, after updating to WP 6.7, for password-protected posts, when you enter the password into the form, the submit button does not take you directly to the post, but takes you back to the list of posts, as if the password had not been applied. The password is actually applied (if you click on the title you access the post), but you no longer have direct access to the post and you see again the form in which to enter the password.

  • Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce what you described here. I therefore suspect that the plugin or theme you are using could be the cause.

    Deactivate all plugins as a test. Does it work then?

    Also change the theme to a standard theme as a test. Does it work then?

    This would allow you to find the component responsible for this.

    Thanks. Solved. It was an issue related to the theme.
