Password protected post still showing

    I am using the TwentyEleven Theme.

    When I password protect a post (using custom menus) it shows in the navigation menu bar, but when I click on it the post displays with the title changed to: Protected: “Postname”.

    I expected to get a sign-in page (as I do with pages) but the click on the menu takes me straight to the post and the post is entirely visible, but with the new title.

    This applies both when I am logged and when I am not.

    Any ideas to help me get a username-passwd page?
