Password Protected Pages (parent and children)

I am trying to have teachers, board members, and parents have a separate log in and show only certain pages based on a log in, on a page.

I created another page call Parents (login required) which works, however every page under that page (children) you can get to with out a login.

Any Ideas ? ..
