Password protected pages do not work in wp 4.3

I’m having the same issue… now updated to 4.3.1 and the password protected page does not accept the password. If I’m logged into my wp-admin account, I can see the page just fine. All other users can’t log-in and see the page though. I have the Twenty Ten theme v1.2 and don’t want to update the theme.

It’s working fine on my test site using latest version of Sparkling theme.

Could you please make sure that you are using latest version of Sparkling theme and clear your browser cache if needed?

I am having the same issue. It’s a multisite install, 4.3.1 version.
It keep asking the password over and over again, both in pages and posts. But since I am not using sparkling theme, it must be something core-related.

In my case, it has not even worked after clearing the browser cache. Checked with Firefox and Chrome

As you have said that you are not using sparkling theme so it seems the issue you are facing is not related to sparkling theme so instead of asking question in this Sparkling theme forum could you please ask it on the following support forums to help keep support forums separate?

I created a page that was using a protected password. Was working great.

I then changed my template of that page and the protected password is no longer working. How can I get this to work.

The template I changed it to is the same as my Home Page. Obviously I don’t want to password protect the Home Screen, just my Member Login page. Any suggestions?
