Password protected entries- STILL NOT WORKING?!

  • I am a brand new Word Press user. I just installed it today, and was immediately disappointed to see that the “password protect” feature does not work.

    When I type in the PW I selected for the entry, it does not bring up the entry. All it does is refresh the page. Furthermore, by clicking “trackback” you can access the full entry anyway.

    I have searched through dozens of posts detailing the same problem, and I’m very disappointed to see that this issue has not been addressed by anyone official, let alone has it been resolved.

    I’m not happy at all with this service.
