    Hi all,
I did some searching around looking for a way to edit the default “This post is password protected. To view it please enter your password below:” message on a password protected page but couldnt find any solid info on it.

I found the default text in the post-template.php file and edited it to say “This page has been protected, please contact me…blah blah”, but my page still has the default text. See here:https://lwonder.com/?page_id=42

I was able to find/change the text for password protected comments via the comments.php but cant figure it out for pages + posts.

What do I need to edit to change the default text?

    thanks in advance!

In case anybody was wondering: answer here

I was wondering. Looks like the same solution as here.

But I couldn’t get that to work with WP v3.0.1 and the Cordoba GreenPark 2 theme.

Any thoughts? Is there a particular place in the functions.php file that function should go?

I tried the solutions linked to above, and it did not work for me either. Can someone help?
