Password protected area not visable

    Are you using a plugin for this? A password protected page does not require logging into the site. A site visitor simply types in the password for that post or page. Do all pages require login?

    Note: Your WP install is out of date. It is in your best interest to update. As always, a full site backup is a good idea first.

    It also looks like you are using a custom theme. Consult theme dev. prior to any changes or switch to default unedited theme and once WordPress and all plugins are up to date, activate and test this theme.

    No no plugin. I’ve chosen a password protected page in the wordpress layout (under publish and visibility) I have done exactly what it says in the link you sent me. We are using a custom theme. Do you think that this problem might be solved if I do an update of wordpress?
