Password Protect will not redirect to the page after entering password

    I just upgraded the theme thinking this was the issue. I also updated all of the plug ins= still not working. I did disable all plugins and tried still not working. Tried the 2015 theme- still not working- Tried adding to the wp-pass

    wp_safe_redirect(wp_get_referer() . ‘?’);

    still not working.

    All you get is the page that saids to enter the password and then nothing happens. I have had other people try it so it is not a cache issue either. Go daddy is saying it is nothing they know how to fix. Any ideas.

  • Have you tried turning on Debug mode to see if its throwing an error?

    Time to disable all the plugins and test I think.

    Hi Radices – thanks for your reply. I just noticed that after I entered the password, that a URL message appears in the lower left hand corner of the screen as “www.wrongURL.com/tevavb-prod/wp-login.php?action=postpass” and I believe this should read “www.totalevolution.com/wp-login.php?action=postpass”. Do you know why this would be occurring and if so where do I go to fix it? Thanks, Linda

    That worked. Not sure what happened. All plugins are active and able to get in now. thanks
