Password Protect Page with my Theme

  • So I have a WordPress 2.7 blog, and I want to password protect a page. I know that my built in password stuff works on my default theme, but when I activate my theme, the password protection no longer works.

    What is my theme missing that makes the password stuff work? I tried looking in the codex for the info but I couldn’t find anything.
