Password Protect CPT Not Working

    I created a CPT and attempted to set the built in WP visibility feature to “Password Protected”. On my archive page, it shows the CPT as “Protected:Name of Post”, as expected, but when I click to open the post, it shows all the content without a password needed.

    The CPT archive page and post page are built with Elementor templates using the Hello theme.

    Is there a setting I am missing? Or do I need to find another way to protect certain posts?

    Hi @vegasb2k

    I believe the password protection only works if you are not logged in as an administrator.
    However, since you are using Elementor, I am not sure about how they handle such features. You’ll have to ask Elementor support.
