Password protect category

  • Hello,
    I am hoping to get some help in password protecting categories in WordPress. I have just set up a new word press so am able to make what ever changes are needed. I am hoping to avoid memberships as I want any one to be able read category a & b while having category c require a password.

    Thank you it works, Not sure how to hide the topics though since they still show but the rest of the post is hidden. Now I just need to figure out how to get rid of blog right demo column ??
