Password pages gives error

  • So currently there is an error when you go to my page and type in the password.It shows this in url bar

    wp-login.php?action=postpass

    The weird thing is if you press “back” on the browser after receiving the error it will ask you for password again, but this time it works.

    It’s the oddest thing.
    1.) I’ve already talked with help support from my website hosting service but they weren’t able to help.
    2.) It’s not the browser itself, I’ve tried every browser and every device under the sun, and I get the same error. People who tried to access my site and have the password get the same error.

    Any idea whats going on and how to fix this?

    Do you remember installing any plugin? Or making any changes related to password?

    if possible try to disable all the plugin once and see if you still face the same issue?

    unforgiven: When you say reset password do you mean try a different password? All passwords I make up give same error.

    Kartik: Is there a safe way to turn off plugins and turning them back on? I have alot of images on my site that are housed by a plugin, that puts them in order. Will it possibly mess that up if I turn it off and turn it back on?

    so i disabled all plugins but the problem still remains
