It has always worked well this plugin, but I don’t understand why it has been constantly giving login error for about 6 months. I’ve been waiting all this time because I thought it would get fixed with an update, but instead today checking again, the error is still there. I tried restoring a backup of the site locally, also deleting all the plugins and leaving activate only Ultimate Member, I also changed theme by putting Twenty-Twenty theme, I also created a new login page, and even disabled the recaptcha check, but nothing, it constantly gives error when trying to log in. Does anyone know how to fix it? it was working so well this plugin, what happened?

    thank you

    Hello @wordultimate

The “Password is Incorrect” error message is shown if the entered password does not correspond to the entered login (Username or E-mail). Whether this error message appears when you enter a valid login and password pair? Test this login and password pair with the built-in WordPress login form on /wp-login.php

Verify the site and server caching settings. Caching must be disabled for the Login page.

@yuriinalivaiko I tried adding to litespeed cache exceptions the login pages, but nothing changed, it keeps giving error, while instead if I login through wp-login, it works, so I can’t understand why there is this problem, until last year everything worked fine

This problem may happen because of plugins conflict or caching. But you said you have already tested your site for conflicts and disabled caching. It is difficult to advise anything else.

Do you have another site or staging environment? Could you install the plugin and try to reproduce this problem on the staging site?
