I can successfully register a new user either on mobile or laptop. However, let’s say I register on mobile and then later try to log in on laptop using the same details I registered with, it will then show up as ‘password incorrect’ on the other device.

I double-checked the password details (which are correct) and cleared the cache but this still happens.

    Any ideas?

Also as a secondary issue, is there a way to hide the password when a user is registering?

  • Hi @ennovator ,

For confirmation, please deactivate LoginPress for a while and reactivate and proceed again. Do you experience same behavior?

If no, then LoginPress isn’t behind this act.

If yes, do reach us at WPBrigade. We woll look into it so that the Development team will help you in figuring and resolving of the issue.

For your second concern : LoginPress follows the WordPress way of doing things with this thing, by default password is shown to user when resetting or registering and setting up the password for the very first time.

Thanks for your fast reply. I think I managed to fix the issue. I think a login recaptcha plugin was causing a conflict. Thanks again.

That’s pretty great to know the issue is resolved at your side.

Feel free to get back us for further assistance creating new thread, if required.
